APE pays great care in quality of its products and performs inspections and test by certified equipment and state-of-the-art machines.
Thereto, APE has fitted an internal laboratory for tightness tests at its articles (pipe + fitting) under alternating cycles of 90°C hot water and 18°C cold water for a total of 5,000 cycles per each test, conforming to the requirements of the UNI EN 12293 Standard.

Our associate's, RACCORPE, premises is equipped with a three-dimensional measuring machine "ZEISS" which performs dimensional checks on the whole productions at random.

All the companies of APE Group are provided with gauges calibrated and certified by credities instutions. Such devices are used in compliance with Sampling and Testing Schedules to be performed at goods acceptance, during the different processing steps and at the final check.

O-rings are checked at random and submitted to strict tests by a machine that compresses, heats and cools the pieces conforming to the ASTM 395/B method.
All this is needed to guarantee tightness and elasticity of o-rings in time.
